Mesh hood question

I am planning on making a mesh hood and running it without the headlights. Am I going to run into problems running the sled without the headlights or am I going to be alright without the draw that the headlights create? Just wondering if I am asking for problems or not?

i have my headlight piaa light wired to the high beam power source on my mesh hood and most of the time run it without the light on and have not expierianced any issues and ben running it that way for 4 years.

What sled?

I put a lexan hood on my 01 and ran it w/out the tach/speedo/headlights and I don't have any electrical problems. It doesn't have handwarmers or the rear taillight either for that matter, just a digitron drawing power is all. Been working ok for a few years like that...

Will work but it helps if you put a reisistor inline where the headlights were to suck up some power. I put one on a 01. Had the resistor in the bellypan. don't let it touch anything. it will get HOT.
