Mesa is the place

Just got back from the mesa, lot wasnt plowed yet and got my truck stuck-never thought i would see the day-Theres a solid 3 feet in the lot with 6+ foot drifts it took all that i had just to get my truck unstuck once that was done i went sledding. it feels like fall bottomless powder riding, but you hit the base after you go though about 4ft of powder fresh and its till coming down strong. I have never ridden in so much powder ever in my live-it swallowed my 151 alive-there were to short tracks that couldnt even make it off of the trailer driving off of the V. Will post cell phone pics here in a sec.

Oh by the way the sled seems to drive just fine with all the repair work done!!

Sounds like fun. Wish i was up there. Snowed here yesterday and today but just enough where you couldnt see the yard. I think i was dumpin it in the mountains though.

Im here in grand junction for a while , not sure if i crossed the divide or not on the way up from this side. Either way 3/4's of the way was fine the last 1/4 sucked-blowing snow ice packed low visibility and the parking lot is a different story but its all part of the game. I could have kept going but by myself with no hijacker i wasnt to comfortable-i have never been there before.

There's a reason they call it "Grand" Mesa. Excellent place to ride, always great snow... Hit Copper today skiing, 10" of fresh, beautiful day of skiing, hittin' the ears tomorrow!!!! What a place to live!!!

Ladies and gents - played hookie and rode the Mesa yesterday -AMAZING. DEEP pow and very non-springlike conditions. We measured 35" of fresh and with wnd had made some gimongous drifts.
