Med Star in Roman Nose 2 2weeks ago

Was riding in Roman Nose area 2 weeks ago and saw Med Star take a guy out. I was Just wondering what the guy suffered from and was hoping he is ok. A lot of sleds in the area when we rolled up.

Had a group of 7 but he was already being assisted. TJ was there too and asked a few questions but never really heard anything from him.

It was a bad day for our group too as my buddy Kordero from the West side of WA totaled his sled-Yeah I Talked to him after he talked to the shop, and we watched a guy tear his skid out -XP- and have to get towed out. A$$ 2 A$$

I'll ask around, my family rides that area quite a bit. Sucks to hear someone got hurt up there. How much snow do they have at the lake? I was in there early January and there was still a lot of rocks showing.

At the first lake, the snow is only halfway up the crapper.
I heard that the guy broke his femur.

I know both of the guys. David Byler broke his leg like Flit said and Jerry Tompkins took a stob through the track and it went all the way back the skid took out every cross shaft and both rails. Just not enough snow on the nose.

yep...found out that it was a broken leg too. It sucks that the snow level is so low. Last year this time we were climbing all over the place up there.

The Last time we saw Jerry and crew they were still on top of the ridge, did they end up making it out before dark? They were a long way from the parking lot and it was getting well into afternoon. I can't imagine that was a fun ride out.
