If anyone has a 900 fuel filter on hand...

Could you take a photo of it and some measurements.

1) Overall length end to end.

2) Inlet diameter

3) outlet diameter

4) length of hose assy from filter to end of Quick disconnect.

Thanks... trying to help out MNIQR...

TY MH.
Basically im trying to find a filter/hose assembly thats about 2" longer than the stock one found on the 800 CFI motors in 2009. Or an extension that looks factory thats in that same 2+ inch range.

I've got a hi-perf replacement filter, tape measure and micrometer in the garage.

distance from filter housing to inner female o ring = 5 3/8"
" filter housing to end of female oriffice = 6 3/8"
overall length = 10 3/8"
male diameter = 3/8"
female diameter = 5/16"

I believe the OEM is much longer and entails looping the hose. Hope this helps

10.5" end to end

I dont have calipers so all I can do is measure the male end on the gas tank that the inlet slides on to: 5/16"

3/8" outlet (male)

6.25" from filter body to end of coupler (hose assy)

EDIT: This is an OEM Polaris 900 filter

TY guys, stock 800 cfi assembly is about 13" long total. So im in need of something in the 15" overall range. Might have to go custom.

Oh yeah, its the fuel rail side of the hose thats long and gets a loop.
Nice photo, Disco!

You becha, the other end is the one with the excess length.
I think this is standard ford fuel line diameters, so maybe you can find something in the automotive world. I'm sure there are 5/16" quick coupler fuel line extensions for installing race tanks in the trunk of mustangs.... I'm sure I remember a friend extending his fuel lines for this purpose.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Biggdawg built his own fuel filter set-up with an automotive fuel line repair kit. I believe he's using a late-model Ford or GM fuel filter in his 900.
