Ordered a set of MDS weights from Steve this morning and he suggested a Polaris black spring in primary. Anyone have thoughts on this.

I have the 79.6 gram weights with the Polaris black. Awesome setup. Engagement is a little lower and smooth. Love it

MDS weights arrived one day after I ordered them from Steve. They look well made. Not cheap but I don't have to shim my spider which is a bonus and much easier to adjust on road trips. I will update when installed.

Ran MDS weights today and they ran strong. Steve set me up perfectly and answered a couple last minute questions Friday night on the phone.

What do you mean ran strong? Just curious, were you able to compare to other sleds, how did they compare to your stock Cat setup? Notice anything with cooler clutches?

Held RPMS to a T. Clutches are cooler but I also installed vent kit at same time. Can not compare to other stockers. Not a night and day difference from stock if stock set up was matched for your elevation.
