Anyone running the MDS weights in their 13 pro and if so how to like them, thinking about getting a set. Wanted to know how they worked and how you like them, and ease of putting in and adjustment.
Thanks.

I've been really happy with the Mds weights
I definitely would do them again.
I'm approaching 800 miles on the same belt, weight adjustments take about 10 mins I remove the cover I find its easier that way.

Mds Rocks!

I realize your asking about a 13 but i have them on my 12 and have about 500 miles on them, like sledhead said adjustments take 10 mins on the hill, love em!

I have Carl's Clutch kit (Springs, Belly Busters, Helix and clutch face machining). It works very well in my 13. I can achieve and hold 8300 to 8400 rpm on long steep pulls in deep snow easily and it backshifts very well. It is worth the money in my opinion. The clutches run much cooler than stock too. It is a pull the rope and ride setup at any elevation that I have ridden at (4,000 to 9,000). I highly recommend their setup.

Hey Blackie.....

Just curious.....what do you have your rear suspension set to get you standing up like that so easy??

Looks fun!

I bought mine from Mds ( Steve )
Very knowledgeable guy, and is always easy to get a hold of him
Weather you call or e mail he will get back to you quick.

kit comes with a spring, mine came with a 100/340.

How much weight are you guys running with you're mds? And what elevations ?

1500 ft 70.7g is what steve recomends with a 100/340. Its a hex eith washer in tip and drilles button head bolt in mid. If its too heavy i can pull washer out and it will be 69.9g

Its still the 2g less per 2000 ft climbed

I also ride 4000-6000 and its 66.5g and thats button bolt with washer in tip with 100/340

MDS all the way. I ran them in my 12', my 13', and now my 13' turbo, very noticeable difference, like stated, really noticeable in the low and mid. They just keep pulling when on a long pull also. I've tried several other set ups and found these to be the best. Had several other pro's not be able to hang with mine after just changing weights. Steve is the great to work with, really knows his stuff. You won't regret it, plus if you don't like em, he gives your money back, only one in the biz that stands behind his stuff like that. MDS Clutching--Steve Mitchell 509-899-0605. PS. A lot of people really like the 100/340, I personally like the 120/340, a little more aggressive low end, the way to go for sure if your running an aftermarket head 13.1 compression or higher. I run 68gr on 12' with PAR 13.1 head, 4-7000', 76gr on 13' turbo same elevations. 163" track, 230lbs rider weight.
