MDS or SLP MTX weight question?

I snowchecked a 2013 Pro RMK 600 for my wife, and would like to install a set of adjustable weights. I'm new to polaris, but on her M8 I used MTX weights, which required the spider to be reshimmed.
On the P85, will MTX weights fit without shimming the spider? What about MDS? They seem to be very popular, anyone use them on the 600? Any advice or recommendations are appreciated.
Thx

No shimming on the MDS.

If you really want to get the run down call Steve at MDS.

I will be running a set on my 800 next season with head and piston kit as well.

I hope they work as good as everyone says

If you use the SLP MTX weights, you'll need to check the belt-to-sheeve clearance and more than likely have to shim to set the clearance.

I'm running the MDS weights on my Pro 800. Love 'em. It's kind of wierd, but on the trail Rpm's seem way too high, but once you get them in the deep stuff they holl RPM's real well and pull awesome. My boss put them on his IQ 600 HO and experienced similar results.

Highly recommend MDS, plus Steve is easy to work with and so are the weights.

The overwhelming consensus is that the MDS weights are a large improvement over stock weights, but how do they compare with the MTX, bellybuster, etc.? Thats a lot of coin to pay just for some weights. You could buy an entire clutch kit with MTX weights for less than just the MDS weights. Is the MDS with stock springs a better option than an entire spring/weight or even helix setup from from SLP or Carls for ROUGHLY the same price? Any thoughts?

I found the MDS weights to work just as sold, great bottom end and mid throttle responce, no improvement on top end. I believe you should run a 120/340 pri spring or if real low alt runing, run a 100/340. Steves great to work with, and I haven't heard any complants ever on his product. Just tell him your runing elevation, track length and he'll either have them set up for ya or give ya very very close setting. Enjoy
