MCX240 Fuel Pump Upgrade

I am running the MCX240 kit on my Nytro and thinking about upgrading to a better fuel pump since the stock one is borderline. What setup is recommended? Also what is the stock pressure?

TIA

walbro CSL-392 is the pump you want. Do not waste your time with MSD they are junk. Any boost compatible regulator will work I run aeromotive.

I also have a MCX 270 upgrade kit sitting on the shelf that I want to part with!!

You got an typo there, it's Walbro GSL392, MCX use it in their 270 kit.

Question, is this piggy backed in with stock fuel pump?? I have a 240 kit and have always questioned fuel delivery. Is it good insurance to just put one in for safety sake?? If so, can you give me an idea how it gets plumbed in!! Does it return fuel to tank??
Thanks

In my opinion it's much better to remove the oem fuelpump, i had both on my Apex for a while but why have another source that draws current and restrict flow.
It's an inline fuelpump, you install an pickup to the tank and put the pump inline with the hose that goes from the tank to the fuelrail, very simpel install, but if you remove the oem pump you need a pickup, several makes them, MCX, CR for ex.

TBird,

Thanks for the information. With the inline pump, I assume a regulator is needed as well. So does the regulator need boost signal or can it set for a the same pressure as the stock fuel pump so no changes to the fuel mapping is needed? I just like to have a system that is more reliable than stock and not planning on going to 270HP.
