McX Apex Falling on it's face

Hey guys I have a 2007 McX Apex that was running great on Friday but on Saturday morning it would sputter and fall on it's face, I was able to ride the rest of the day as long as I turned my boost all the way down(7.5#'s) it felt similar to when I blew off my intercooler but I just ran a leak test today and there are no leaks. Thoughts? Maybe McX box is bad. Saturday morning it wouldn't idle and was throwing a code 14, I pulled the plug out of the McX box and noticed some corrosion, we cleaned it up and it idled and ran fine until it would go over about 8 -10 lbs. Any help would be great, thanks.

it sounds like the secondary injectors arnt coming on?? Running out of fuel?? Can you unplug the wires going to it and briefly try it?? if it does it worse then you know that its getting some fuel....if no change then you know.

Just unplugged my secondary injectors and tested it (on the asphalt, my neighbors think I am crazy anyways) and it ran exactly the same way, so how do I test if it is the box or something else?

I can get a pic tomorrow, it came with the 310 kit, it is billet aluminum with cooling fins. One thing I just remembered is that when it wasn't idling good you could hear the secondary injectors kicking in and that is when the sled would idle down, we unplugged the McX box and it would idle fine, we cleaned up the connections and tried to make sure that the connectors were closed off enough so as to make a connection, then plugged the box back in and it idled fine but the secondary injectors obviously aren't firing, is it possible we fu*(ed up the plug? Sorry for the book I wrote.

thats the same style box I have on my nytro...and when they go bad they go bad....from what I have read and heard....have you got a buddy you could swipe one from to try?

check the wires that go into the plug if it is the same as the one on my sled they can push out pretty easy. the other thing to do is put a little air to the box when the sled is running, the mcx injectors will fire and almost stall the motor. set your regulator to 10-15, dont know what the box will take for presure.
If you have the right size hose you can thread one end into a float pump and just give it a push. you can guess how I figured that out.... julio

I went outside to try Juliio's idea, I let my sled warm up and was just about ready to apply hook up the compressor when it started idling funny and throwing a code 14. WTF?

I think you have a vacuum leak....do a pressure test of the system from the turbo intake back.....code 14 is the intake sensor pressure.....

It will do that idle fine for a bit then start flashing 14 and you have to give it throttle to keep it running...

As for your lack of power under boost check to see if there is power going to your mcx box, but I think a pressure test will help
