McCall Xmas schedule

One of our groomers ate a wheel bearing. A REAR wheel bearing. It had to be hauled to Boise to get fixed.
Because of this, and too much snow, and holidays, we will be grooming 24x7, so PLEASE be careful.

I'd hate to scratch our shiny steel bumper with one of your helmets.

I've had two different operators offer to groom Xmas night. Man, that is HARD CORE. We may take one of them up on their offer, and if we do, we'll move all the days up by one.

Did I mention our operators are MOTIVATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:beer;

Thanks for the update.

Where in the valley can I purchase the out of state use permits? I used to live in Donnelly so I will be there for Christmas and will be riding. I may be back in March so I will need a season pass I guess.

Thanks

VB

brush creek done. Look this one up on the map, it is pretty cool.

donelley to westface opened.
green gate to copet opened.
brundage lookout reopened.
as i type, groomer headed from greengate to westface, then upper elevation, then copet.

Doug your Christmas present is in the F-Bomb Racing trailer. Stop by Francis Wallace from 27th on and get your care package!

We soooo appreciate you guys!

or see me at Lardo's for more of the same

Real world says our trails are in excellent shape, we've worked our folks 80 hours in the past week.

We're taking 2 days off, and will start working again xmas night through New Years day 24x7.

see you all real soon now, ya here!!!!

Thanks Doug... rode yesterday and the trail was great on the way in and freshly groomed on the way out. Made the way back to the trailer a lot nicer after playing in the deep snow all day. :beer;

the groomers are back at it again tongiht.

bad groomers.

copet creek to brundage res, down to west face, back through upper elevation to association cabin past goose lake, back over copet creek.

donnelley they are wandering around up there somewhere. Shouldn't be too hard to follow the tracks, although everything up there is in really great shape.

two days off now.

Wednesday morning groom to at least burgdorf. don't know exactly how we can get to Warren during daylight with the number of riders expected, might ask for volunteers to flag folks down and warn them. in any case, we think we are safe grooming to burgdorf during daylight hours, but past that without flaggers is a pretty big risk.

Whenever we get done with burgdorf, wednesday night we groom copet to west face to goose lake right through upper elevation.

last night to burgdorf, and pushing the road back. an easy 6 feet of snow at secesh summit.

it was 15 degrees and a total whiteout. the dryest fluffiest snow i've ever seen.

tonight green gate, brundage lookout, west face, upper elevation, goose lake.

last night warren i just got back.
yesterday green gate to westfact to upper elev to goose lake to francis wallace

donnelley across red ridge to westface

donnelley is busy preparing for fun run this weekend, looking great according to club

today brush creek probly, wallace lane, clayborn real soon now, then back to warren probly sunday night

to summarize, our trails are actually in great shape as i type this. not very many sleds up here, whihc is reallly puzzling.

a SOLID foot of fluff up top fresh last night, i'd beleive 2 feet in places.

Doug
Are you going to Warren tonight?
What is the plan for the next grooming to warren after tonight if you go, have some newbys and I want to make sure they have a good time.

Not trying to complain here... Just information... Green Gate needs to be plowed badly... All of us had 4WD and most everyone was getting stuck. We made it about 5 miles up the trail out of Green Gate and turned around because it was so moguled... I don't know when the last time it was groomed was but it's been awhile. We then went on up the road and went to the burgdorf turnoff and turned around. It wasn't nearly as bad as Green Gate but it was pretty bumpy. I hope the trail up to Warren is being groomed tonight or it will be a miserable ride tomorrow. We are planning on riding up to Warren tomorrow and would like to have a pleasant ride. Thanks for all of your hard work and late nights on the groomers so we can have a great time on the trails!

See ya up there Rick...

we're getting some snow here lately.

we did green gate/that whole side of the mountain wednesday night.

we did warren thursday night. will do it again sunday night.

did wallace lane friday night, hazard saturday day.

fisher creek saturday night.

debating whether to try green gate/east side of mountain during hte day on sunday.

enuff snow here you can't see where we did fisher creek.

tonight to warren, again to burgdorf tuesday day, then upper elevation tuesday night.

gonna be a little rough in spots the next couple of days. we really can't groom new years eve or new years eve night safely.

Miserable ride today... We met the groomer about a half mile from the park tonight! Looking forward to a nice ride tomorrow... Has Green Gate been done?? We are planning on heading out of town on Wed. and would like to ride up there before we leave... Thanks!

At least the powder is nice!! ;)

green gate has been done 4 times in the past 2 weeks. just not in the past 4 days.

it will not be done until at least tuesday night, maybe.

i have heard green gate, and the east side of the brundage mountain is really rough, so i recommend folks avoid it.

going to warren tonight, and burgdorf tuesday day.
