McCall Demo Rides Opinions on Sleds

I will be heading up the demo ride program this year for Mile High Powersports in McCall. We will have a Pro 800, an 800 XM, and are looking at throwing a 600 in the fleet, but not sure if it will be a Poo or Doo. Any opinions?
The purpose of the demo program is let folks try before they buy, so let me know if a Poo or Doo 600 would be a better demo for us this year. I will also have a Freeride 146 that I can bring along to let people try out.

I think the 600 might have some intrest for lighter riders or guys trying to decide on a sled for their girl. Having seat time deffinately makes the decision easier.

I may have to get a hold of you sometime to demo an XM....I know if I do though I won't want to keep my '10 XP... hmm$$mmm ... :juggle:

Guys who think the 600 sleds aren't good mountain sleds haven't ridden one. I rode a 600 Pro last year and the only (major) noticeable difference was less torque off the bottom. It was more maneuverable and the owner put it places I couldn't put my 800.
Two votes for the Pro, I will let them know. Not a Cat dealer, so Kitty is out.

It'll definitely give guys a perspective, especially the lighter ones. I'm 280 before gear and started out on a 94 Kitty 440 with a 136". Thought that sled moved well, then it was 700 triples and now the 800. Was contemplating a 600 Etech when I bought my sled, but opted for the 800 as I didn't have seat time on the 600 to make the decision.

I checked today, it will be a Doo 600 Etec.
I am not positive on how the program will be run this year, but last year it was either:
1) Meet the prospective buyers at the shop and go riding for a half day, swapping demo sleds.
or
2) If there are a lot of people, meet at a certain place on the trail that is easy to find and let folks try what they want to try.
There is a charge for the half day rides to cover fuel and oil, unless you end up buying a sled. Then, no charge. Again, it is a program to let people try before they buy, so that they are ultimately happy with the sled they purchase.

Come on over! I just grabbed myself a 13 600 RS for short-track fun also. :)
I only rode the IQR for 50 miles before I decided I didn't care for Polaris (my Pro and some lousy treatment I received from the Polaris Race Department), so as soon as I sold the Pro I sold the IQR so I could keep everything on the same brand.
The Cat was dialed because I put a lot of miles on it that winter, the IQR probably would have been better, but I was still breaking it in and it was super rich.

Looking like an early winter, we were looking at wraps for the demos today. Realistically looking at end of December for safe rides, but who knows, it is up to the snow. If interested, PM me here or call Bryan at two 0 eight 634-7007.

In addition to the regular demos, if anyone wants to take a spin on one of my sleds if I have it on the ride they are welcome. 146 Freeride and a 163 Summit X. Well, and a 2013 600RS race sled, but nobody around here is much interested in those...

We need to go riding again. I'd be down to try the 600rs... maybe in the spring though. Hopefully we have a lot of pow and need to stick to the long tracks.
