The groomers in McCall and Donnelly are ready to go and are in excellent shape due to a lot of volunteer work by a couple of guys named Sam and Mark, (and others too). We do need some help in finishing the Wallace groomer shed add on if anyone can pound nails, please send a pm. They did get a new groomer for Smiths Ferry/Cougar mtn and a new tiller for the Cascade groomer from Idaho Parks and Recreation, THANK YOU, Todd.

The McCall Club web site plans on having some maps available showing some recommended rides. We are just in the planning stages on how to do it. This is for the out of the area visitors looking for "recommendations". Typical would be a route on a map for "family ride on groomed trails to a "hot springs"." or "How to find Hidden Bowls for agressive riders", from various parking lots.

New area maps are almost ready to be printed once the FS finalizes the lines around the Granite Peak cat-ski area. Should have them out in another 3 weeks, thanks to Sandra Mitchell, ISSA reprentative.

Good job guys. Just need to get the "murder tree" gone from the edge of the trail about a mile or two back from Blacktip, lol. I was surprised it was still there this summer when up there wheeling, if I had thought of it I would have taken my saw and chopped it. Buddy totalled his sled on it last year and came about 3 feet from being a shish-kabob, lol.
LMK if you need help, PM me. I am having ankle surgery on the 29th, but shouldn't be too long of a healing process before I can get around and ride.

Thanks to the people of the McCall Snowmobile Club for all of your hard work making McCall one of the premier snowmobile vacation spots in the lower 48! Smooth access to the goods, numerous excellent and organized parking areas, and all the amenities of McCall make this a total winner for snowmobile family fun. Looking forward to another great year in Valley/Adams county!

Grooming reports

We have no fresh snow but they made a pioneering run from Wallace to Warren and Burgdorf earlier this week, 12/16.

They went out yesterday (19th) past Clow point where the snow and rocks are pretty bad to Granite Lake and to Fisher Cr. Saddle. On the 20th Christel is going to go to Association cabin and to Clayburn trail head. She says the snow is actually pretty good once you get back there but it is shallow and so be careful. They will try to groom some this week but we are at the minimum that the State allows in depth of snow to go out. If we tear up a machine we are in trouble with everyone.

Have fun.

For what it's worth I was out yesterday with a group and the trails were in perfect shape. We headed out of the Brundage area parking lot. You guys did an incredible job with what you had to work with snow wise. GREAT JOB!! THANKS...
