Thanks to a nice dump of snow grooming has commenced for the upcoming season. Bell and Lucielle have been done and trail building on Renshaw to start Tues. 09 in the am thru to Thurs. 11. So be careful if using the trail during those dates. Trail passes will be in effect starting Thurs. also! Higgins.

We got the groomer up to the 21km mark on Renshaw then unhooked and started blading in the deactivation gulleys. Made it to 25km before packing it in for the day. But the snow is falling. Talked to a couple of sledders on the way out and they said "DEEP". And it was snowing all day and especially very hard above 4500ft. Not to cold here though, around -3c so snow will set up quick. So that means get here quick and have a great ride. Higgins.

Nice to have those trails groomed. Back in the day o the short track phasers (117" x 1/2") that trail up the renshaw took us well over and hour ( with breaks) Hot-tub and Tylenol were welcome sight s at the end of the ride.

Put the groomer away for the day and decided to go up Renshaw to check out the riding. 2-4ft of fresh and snowing very hard!! It's been snowing in the alpine for a week straight here. Grooming Renshaw again tomorow during the day. Tried posting pics but it's not happening with this computer. Will do it when i get home. Higgins.

Grooming Complete!

Just got back from a week in McBride helping Hotrod put the finishing touches on the Renshaw trail. I'll tell you there is a ton of work to get that trail ready for use. And the higher up we got the deeper the snow got. When we bladed from km29 up thru the chute to the cabin we were bustin 4-5ft snow banks. But trails are open for your sledding pleasure! Have a safe season. Higgins.

We rode 3 days at Lucille, and had plenty of powder. My buddy's M8 could out perform my Apex easily, if he could drive, for all the snow. We drove home Friday, through a blizzard all the way to Edmonton. We'll try getting back the end of January.
