I do believe we are living in a socialist state now where goverment is either taking the tax dollars to pay out wall street or bailout homeowners who are stupid. Republicans or Democrats it doesn't matter anymore. Hello fascism communism whatever you call it nothing can fail anymore without goverment stepping in and giving away money we don't have.

When are people going to stand up and say stop giving away our money!!!!

Wall St crooks that got bailed out are laughing....

Wall Street has roughly $20 billion set aside for 2008 bonuses

A Bloomberg report said that Wall Street's banks still have roughly $20 billion set aside to pay bonuses for 2008. A brief run down of the allocations banks have set aside for bonuses:

* Merrill Lynch & Co.: $6.7 billion - posted losses for 5 consecutive quarters
* Goldman Sachs Group Inc.: $6.85 billion - still profitable, the bank slashed the bonus size by 32%
* Morgan Stanley: $6.44 billion - also profitable, bonuses here will decline 20%
* Lehman Brothers Inc: $2.5 billion - the bank walled off the money for its U.S. unit before filing for Chapter 11

It's election time.
He is behind in the polls and making stupid promises is what got Obama where he is, so Dumbazz is going to try it.

I think I should take out 5 morgages, buy 10 cars and 5 sleds. Get so far over my head I can't see, then cry for help and see if I get any.

I have a sister who hasn't made her house payment in a year, and is taking her bank to court because they gave her 28 days to get out. Then she is hoping for the bailout! See what growing up on welfare does to the minds of some!

I grew up on welfare, made a promise to myself I would never put myself in that situation and would never go there. Others believe it is their right, just as my own sister does. Like they say, you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family!

Good for you Mrs. snowrider! And shame on your sister.

What baffles me is that it seems like we agree on some major things like this sister of yours not paying her mortgage for a year and somehow getting away with it. I lived in Minnesota for 5 years and saw what happens in the inner city. Its crazy. People proud of being on unemployment benefits for the entire 2 years. People having more babies to get more government assistance. I could go on and on, but the point is that we have coddled (sp?) people far too long and that needs to stop. People are proud of "working the system". What we can't agree on is who to pick to facilitate that change. (And the media is the worst I've ever seen)
