I know! We'll make out hybrids fully electric! That'll show those oil companies AND save the world! Ha HAAA!

Then, we can drive them to the Al Gore Coal-Fired Powerplant protests, completley oblivious to the fact that the filthiest fuel on the planet powered our "green cars" to get to the protest!

We're SAVING THE WORLD!!!!! WooOOoOOoooOOOOOOOhoOoOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

hybrids do generate current with regenerative braking....
he is talking about total electric cars though, where the whole myth is that if you take that route, your emissions are zero... not true. people really miss the big picture sometimes.

Yeah, I should've read closer. I tried to delete the post when I realized he was talking about plug in hybrids.

There's lots of progress being made with coal, especially with algae scrubbers that can in turn generate more fuel from the Co2 emitted from the plant. Do the enviros ever take into account how damaging nickel batteries and the silicon in solar panels are to the environment?
