Gunnison county (CO) just had a meeting last night about whether or not to support Hidden Gems. Sad to say they voted 3:4 to support additional wilderness designations, and said they will send a letter to DC expressing their support. This was in spite of the extremely crowded meeting, where many more people opposed Hidden Gems than supported.

I've been a member of SAWS for quite a while. Usually donate a couple hundred bucks a year. $50 via PayPal every quarter spreads it out so it's not real painful. Taking away our freedoms and our riding areas is VERY painful! Just did 2nd quarter 2011 donation today. Thanks for the reminder! Keep em coming guys! Don't forget to write your State Senators either. Bug the hell out of them!!!!
