Maybe dumb idea, Running a pclaw backwards in set up snow?

Just wondering if anyone has tried it? I just ordered one and haven't really seen one up close. I always turned my challengers around for drag racing and they climbed good in most situations...

Check out last years deep powder challenge on Snowest magazine the Arctic Cat dealer that brought his machines to the challenge reversed tracks on the cats and he said that it didn't work as good as he thought it would. In my opinion I would run it the way it was designed.
I am sure you should be able to check out the archives.
Hope this helps.

I run a reversed A-20 in the spring, that track is rediculous going up crap, track just deosn't really spin, just hooks, but is even more fun coming back down...:(

I run my A20 backwards in the spring but the issue I have is the rooster tail is about 150 feet long and 30 feet high. Ive tried several snow flaps but they dont work to well.

Powerclaw

I heard some guys did it toward the end of last year do not know the entire results? I just ordered a PC for my 08 M1000 and I am considering reversing it not sure yet? hmmm what to do?

Looks to me like the tips of the fingers are bent in a direction that they will be digging into the snow when installed in the normal directions. If you put it on backwards the tips will be leaning back and will slip more. You might get better braking with it on backwards but my guess is it will not hook as well.

You want a spring snow track, get one of the Challenger Lite's that everyone took off their 07 Rev's....they hook up HARD on the hard pack and they're cheap as dirt. The downside is they fall apart if you like to hit stuff and not so hot in pow pow

Agreed.
I had one on my M1000 last year . If you look at the design of the paddles/fingers it’s a one way track. From the looks of it reversing it would suck. JMHO.

Put a new one on the sled this year! I love that track.:D
