So we decided to go up to Guards and it was awesome. We went up Friday night and decided it was good enough to go back again on Saturday. Snow was light and fluffy, more like a february storm than a May storm. Boy did it start to set up quick once the sun came out though. Good thing we were up there durring the storm because once the sun come outs it does not take long for it to be back to spring riding. Here are some videos that I put together today of our MAY 1st ride. Enjoy. Oh ya Part 4 has a pretty sweet jump in it.

Looks Killer!
I am kicking myself for going again today, but I am sore as he11 from yesterday. Hard to believe its May.
BTW that jump was big!

Nice Shoots with the vid, wish I could have ridden with you guys. I was also up there Saturday morning; I was the lone duck, which is never as fun and not safe, passing you guys on the way back to my truck. Still had a great morning with unreal snow for May 1st.

Ya it was a great morning. Ya going alone can be very scary up there. We ended up having to tow one sled out because of problems and being alone would have been a long hike out of there. If you see me up there again just ask if you can tag along. I dont have problems with that.

Was it the XP that you towed out. I think he was borrowing my tools to fix something on his clutch in the parking lot. He said something about not being able to get it tight but going to ride it anyways. The snow was definitely good.

Nope it was my other friends old polaris sled. It was acting funny and died and then he broke his pull rope and we couldnt get it started again.

Thanks for letting him borrow the tools. I appreciate it because I had just got there and wanted to ride that night. it would have sucked if I had to go home without being able to ride. We had a great time up there Friday and Saturday. His sled was overheating before we got out of there saturday though. That sled has had problems with leaking coolant all year long.

Thanks again

If it is the XP that is leaking coolant, then there is a known issue with clamps from the factory on them. The clamps need to be replaced with a new hose clamp that you can screw down because the factory ones are not holding the pressure.

My bro and a few others had this same issue. Replaced the clamp -I believe on the hose going to the head or back to the cooler- I could get exact details for ya.......but it is a known issue on 09's and newer.

Hey thanks I will let him know and see if he can get it fixed.
Thanks for the heads up.

Not a problem.

Not quite as impressive as your air but here's one of me hitting a small jump from Friday afternoon.

Thanks for the invite, yea I was told by my wife I couldn’t go again by myself, so next time I guess she will have to let me go a little longer.
