Maxtrak verse Convex

I live in Utah with some pretty light snow... I believe I remember people saying in powder the Maxtrak did better and the convex was better all around.... specifically in spring.

Anyone have experience with both... Is the Maxtrak a lighter track. Are we cutting hairs or is it a stark difference... I would be upgrading my 2015 LT...

You are correct. the Maxtrak is deifinately a little better for deeper fluffy snow being slightly lighter and softer paddles. The TS convex track really shows its strength when there is any sort of firm or crusty snow. This is where the maxtrak starts to slide around more.

If your a powder snob then the maxtrak is probably better but if your running from first snow till its all melted I think the TS track will leave you happier.

Are you talking about maxtrack 2? Its the new stiffer version

The old one... The decision for me is a good deal on the old one or buying the convex that I have ridden enough to know how much better it is than the 2015 tracks.......
