Mavrick Track

I am wondering if anybody on here has run a maverick track, Did they run in the forward position and i also in the reverse position or back wards? Which way did better for climbing and which is better?
Also which track is the better on camo maverick or power claw?

If your talkin about the maverick that came stock on yamaha's, don't bother. Especially if your applying any kind of power to it. Lugs just fold over.

Never ran it backwards. Thats something to think about.

The PowerClaw is much better in all conditions than the Maverick. The Maverick is a POS whether you run it fwd or backwards. The lugs eventually just lay over and provide no traction at all. Your money is much better spent elsewhere. A maverick cut down to 1.75 or 1.5 might be decent but that's about it IMO.

my opinion is the mav is a decent track, exactly what they were going for good at everything great at nothing. compared to a powerclaw I will take the maverick everyday, especially if you are putting real power to it. the couple claws the pc has do not make up for all the paddles being folded back outa the box. I ran a pc on tapex she spun 100 at half throttle looots of track speed but iffy going up and really fast down.

the thing to note about the mavs is the early versions prior to 09 were a softer duromiter. the newer ones are harder, that being said I run mine 500 to 1000 miles and turn them around, depending on snow condition. yes I have gotten good at it..
the other thing to take in to account is i am on turbo yammys, for stock / normally aspirated I would lean back towards the powerclaw..

my preference is the camo extreme. julio

Camo extreem, best all around track ever built. I've had all three with the mav. being the biggest mistake I made. PC is very good but I like the extreem the most.

Missing lugs

Put a Maverick track on my modded 02 RMK a couple years ago, I thought the performance was decent but just noticed that I am starting to miss some of the lugs.
