Over the boarded and through Kamloops we go. Speeding past Salmon Arm ready for the snow. Should make Revy by midnight just in time for last call.
We landed ModSldr's room. Stay tuner to Mtn & Mauler's drunkin adventure. Pics to come soon.

whoooooohoooo! I wasn't sure they'd let the likes of you 2 in! :eek: ;)

Have loads of fun... I expect to see pics! :beer;

this thread is just wrong. what happens in revy, stays in revy you two!

Got in late on Thursday night, and rode Boulder on Friday and saw the usual spects like Doc zoom, O Zone "welcome to Revlestoke" Thomas Orpe, and a few others. Plenty of turbos and 4 strokes. We toured around and saw turbo hill, sugar bowl and in the trees by the cabin. Drank at the bars that night, and crashed hard. Clouds started to roll in on Friday and the snowc came with it.
Some random started chit with MTNSLDR about drinking beer at the Boulder cabin. Apperently when a Canadia says to do something and you say "no" you disrespect him and the club and will be called an "a hole". The random Canadian will make up lies and tell you its against the law to drink on the hill to prove his point. MTNSLDR pounds the beer and dumps out the last bit of foam for the nice Canadian man. Random canadian rides off mad. Oh well.

We are back home, safe and sound and can drink beer here in the states.

Some people know me, and know exactly where I stand on this issue.

If the random cannook would have approached me in a non-aggressive manner, I would have considered hearing the poor guy out, but when you start a conversation with "are you ill-literate, can't you read"? You know this isn't going to go well for one of us, you know I can't let that go. At first I thought i must know the guy because no one would be such a jerkoff. So I brushed it off and replied with a simple "your telling me, life is a beoth to get through not knowing how to read". Apparently this was disrespectful to him, his buddy standing next him, and the entire snowmobile club (apparently he is the club spokesman) I quickly showed off my beer chugging skills and needless to say he was less then impressed.
Oh well, better to pissed off then pissed on.

The guy prob had no right to be a jerk but the rules for the weekend were NO alcohol on the hill.This is something the goverment of canada decided on.

The club was doing everything they can this weekend to keep the goverment happy and keep the mountain OPEN TO SLEDDERS.....

So thats prob why the guy was so uptight and "went off" for something that seems so simple.He should have asked politely to put the beer away.All he was really trying to do was protect the right to ride there in the future.

I can understand completely if that is the rules, and even then, I can slip into the trees to drink my beer, no issues with that.
If the guy had just asked, no worries, I would have still asked why to get an understanding. But most likely would have complied with the mans request.
So in the end its all about the approach, if you don't respect others, don't expect respect back.
Overall the day was good, high clouds, and great tree riding.

Actually I think what the others were getting at is that it is all about following some basic rules and respecting the laws and rules of the country you are visiting.:confused:

Can you not ride without drinking beer?:rolleyes:

Lol

You should of lit up a blunt!!!! the whole club woulda joined in and you would of been there new spokesman!!! How do they satisfy cottonmouth??? seems like a cold pilsner works fine!!!!:D

the problem was that you did not share! Had you shared your treats with the others in the cabin...like a good ambassador!

This was my first trip to Revy, long drive but well worth the time. I can only imagin what its like with sunshine and fresh snow - must be a slice of heaven...
Some of the sleds I saw for the shootout were flat out incredible. It was cool talking to allot of guys with Apex's - I fit right in and didnt feel like an outcast...LOL

As for Jackson's beer incident it was an unfortuate chain of events. The cabin was posted and the posters about the shootout were crystal clear about the no alocohol sipulation.
Unfortunatly we didnt see the cabin until after the incident and I ddnt see the event poster until we got back to town ( we arrived abut 1:30 am thursday and were up riding early friday).

I signed Jackson up for a stint at Betty Ford, dropped him off on the way home. he should be back out in society in a week or so....Sell your Miller Beer stock soon.... :) :beer;

Way to represent WA there Jackson! ;)
