Massive DIY Construction Fail.....perhaps the best thing on the internet...ever

The thing that gets me is....he's obviously a hard working dude, he just has no idea what he's doing.....and he doesn't care! He even went through the effort to paint it and put on "trim" ?? The confidence level vs the actual result is mind boggling!!

I just think it's fantastic....they're calling it "shed of doom" BHAHAHAHA

Thanks for the post and link, after this week I needed a pick me up :face-icon-small-hap

^^^ it blows my mind how commited he is to this thing and its straight botched. at what point do you step back and say.... WTF, i suck!?

You guys probably don't understand his mindset. He's thinking he wants to make a shed that will hold his stuff as cheaply as possible. He did it with nothing but a handsaw, wood and nails. He doesn't care if its shoddy he's cheap and it gets the job done. Now obviously he doesn't realize the problems with mold and it turning to mush after rain so it will end up blowing up in his face. Honestly if I was him I wouldn't even bother putting a floor down I'd stick with dirt :face-icon-small-con

Wow! Hard to believe that is real
that was actually worth the time it took to go through 33 pages.

If you look at the second timelapes vid, look at the roof!

I think he did not stagger the shingles! Am I seeing that right?

I think he just overlapped them from left to right?

If so, bwahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaaha

Ok, somebody on here has to live by this thing (Langley, BC???). We need more pics of this amazing hunk of crap before a stiff breeze levels it.

Comon guys a breeze isn't going to level it duh. The builder obviously took that into consideration, so he left cracks in the wall so the wind can go through it thus reducing the pressure on the walls. Engineering at its finest LOL
