Marble Mountain January 13, 2009: Marble Mountain Sno-Park is predicted to be open on Friday. Recommend you go to sno-parks at Wind River or Mt. Adams instead.

Rating/Remarks: Sno-Park permits are now required.
Road Information: 01/09/2009 - 10 a.m.: Open, slide has been cleared near the power canal bridge. Road is open to the jct. with the Curly Creek Road. Washington State DOT crews are assessing SR 503 east of Cougar, Wash., for possible failure. SR 503 is open at this time. The road is now gated east of Marble Mountain. Forest Road 83 is open to the Cougar Sno-Park. Forest Road 90 east of the junction with Forest Road 83 and Curly Creek Road is currently being plowed at this time. Non-motorized corridor along climbing route is closed to snowmobiles (corridor map). Area north of volcano closed to snowmobiles and to off-trail ski and snowshoe travel (area closure map).
