Pulled a 26" enclosed all over WA with a 4dr long box truck. Sometimes a pain but still did it. For the back road trips we still have decks and or 2 place trailers. But I'm not going to spend that kind of money on a deck unless it loads the sleds for me.

There was a guy at the Denver snow show with a 3 place deck, like a normal deck, then one over the top of the other two... and hydraulic loading! I think he wanted like 7k for them, it was craAAzy!

if a non paid sponsor wants to spam a sales pitch on here, they take what they get. I sell decks, but I don't go starting threads about it on here. btw, I make a whopping $80 by the time I get a deck to someone, so my response wasn't based on greed, just giving people options.

Hey bud, I thought it was bad taste to chime in on someones post trying to sell YOUR product when all he's doin is pushing his product trying to make a couple bucks. I dont think anyone here has a problem with you starting your own thread selling decks. As for myself, I had started a thread back when I was a newb and didnt know anything about sleds, instead of peeps answering my question all they did was hate, therefore I could give two ****s about my "rep" or "post counts". And for the little grey dot?? I run a business, so if I have 10 minutes for snowest I'm lucky !

Currently looking at 2 decks. 1 the SLM and the other the marathon. I like both for different reasons but i like the Marathon for looks, no box space taken up and the fact it seals the box like a toneau cover. SLM i like the price. I can justify spending the 4grand for a deck vs an enclosed by paying ferry fees by the foot. Plus i like the ease of getting into crowded areas and being able to drive nasty roads and not worry about the trailer. I had a 4 place enclosed and loved it as well. going into a covered place and getting ready to ride is very nice. BUT i also got stuck a few times pulling the trailer into parking places with lots of fresh and couldnt pull out the trailer. SUX. if i was rich id have a deck and an enclosed. Both have there places where they shine.

After further knowledge FLM now takes the place of the SLM deck.

probably true there is some places you cant even attempt to go with a trailer. a lot in the us and a ton in canada not sure about alaska.

I tow my 27' enclosed everywhere in ak no what conditions. I even tow it if it's just one sled for the simple fact I don't like road grim on my sled and it can tow it in any condition i can drive my truck in.
