Manufacturer data sticker on the tunnel

Does anyone know if I remove the manufacturer data stickers on the right side of the tunnel will it void the warranty? I removed them on my assault, when peeling them off there was a portion under the sticker stuck to the tunnel that said void.

I have taken them off every new sled I have bought, including my 2011 rmk, never had trouble with warranty.

i took every sticker off my pro rmk that was on it, including all the tunnel stickers and cowl stickers. hope it's not a problem

I did the same thing and saw the "void" marks. But when I looked at the sticker it didn't say anything about voiding anything if removed. I can't imagine Polaris could void a warranty if that sticker is removed considering how many people use tunnel wraps. Some manufacturers use void stickers to determine if someone opened something up (like a hard drive), but that doesn't seem to be the function of this sticker.

Pry left over inventory from some electronic and they needed to use up the stickers haha

i think it's just voided cause they dont' want you peeling that particular sticker off and putting it on another sled.

I'd tape over it and leave it...

Selling over the border is a PITA without it as well.

As for voiding the warranty... I dont belive it will... just that the sticker is void for thieves out there.

It will void your warranty just like if you ripe your tags of your matress the FBI will arrest you, all black ops style.
My bet is it something to do with canuks buying sleds in the states and having them worked on/warranty in canada. Which was a big problem a few years back. So unless you plan on moving to canada take that motha off.

MH is onto it. last year i remember a big to do about a guy who bought a used sled in the states that had been wrecked and had a replacement tunnel installed that didnt have a sticker on it and he spent forever trying to track down information from dealers and manufacturers and i dont know how it ever turned out but go ahead and remove it if your certain it will never cross the border

Mine are all going to come off, I tried to leave them on my 09 d-8 and they made it about 12 rides. My boots were tearing them off, so might as well just remove them when new so when I polish the tunnel they are not in the way.

i took every sticker off my sled all around the cowl, tunnel sides, tunnel top, wrapped it all. they get worn off anyway.

I remember that one as it was coming off it said void under it.. lol wasn't that a epa sticker or something.. **** the EPA...
