I am Glad to see that this cold weather is not discriminating against Canada, it warmed up at my house it was only -48 this morning. I think the Irondog is definately going to be a matter of who is the toughest this year.

I think I may have solution to global warming - lets resume above ground nuclear testing. The cool spell that lasted from the 50's to 70's miraculously coincided with the short era of above ground nuclear testing. Those tests raised a lot of dust particles into the atmosphere and created a mini nuclear winter effect.

If the temps get too high for our tree hugging friends, there is a simple solution available.

Gore has tried making the fact that winters are getting more harsh an argument that that global climate change is occuring, and we must act now to stop it. He tries to make anything in the weather support his bull****...

Strange, yesterday was actually +52*F for the official high in town and all the snow melting off the trees in the mountains made it sound like it was raining Send some of that cold down here PLEASE!!!

On the good side, the snow pack here is still looking VERY good tho

damn I'm glad I live in MN. I remember winters with 20-30 below for a week or two, but that 40 below chit is for the birds. Hell it was -13 this morning and that was plenty cold enough for me. Must be getting soft.
