Making my Crossfire a 141 ??

Hey I want to change my sons 2006 Crossfire to a 141. Has anybody done it? and what do I all need to do?

Also any tips on the right set up and track to buy would be awesome!

Thanks for the help.

144"

Might as well go right to the 144". A few people make the rail extensions and the tunnel will take the 144" length fine as is. My buddy put one on his
crossfire and bought the rail extenders from Oldes if I remember right, never had any issues and he didn't baby that thing. Pick up a cheap track here in
the swapmeet section.

Here's my two ways I've made this.

Two years ago I bought Camoplast Challenger 144" with 2" lugs and 2.52" pitch. It only needs rail extensions and 2 gr lighter weights. Easy to do!

Just recently I converted my sled to 141" with Camo Extreme track and this is way more complicated to do. It needs 141" rails (I used stock ones by modifying them), 3" pitch drivers (BDX or M Cat axle with drivers), float conversion suspension, front shock opening/reshimming, rear arm tunnel brackets. I also put -09 rear bumper and foot holders so I needed to straighten the cooler too and put led tail light. This way drops over 10 kg from sled.

Here's one action photo. It pulls nice wheelies now ... especially when you drive WOT in to the tree :D
