I currently am running 12# on my yamadoo, not sure on track speeds as my speedo sensor is retarted and wont read much past 10mph(different problem)

either wya, the thing moves my 150# A$$ way to fast on any sorta harder snow right now, track poaching or running the trail its out of control, but when I get into fresh snow cutting my own line, say in 2' of fresh or so the thing just feels like a gutless turd. It will still smoke any 800 class 162 2 stroke sleds that are a fair bit lighter, BUT, I just feel like theres more on the table, currently got a free track im running, its a stock doo 162 camo cut down to 2" paddles. realisticly how much better is say a 2.5 or something like a 2.3 or 2.4 stocker track??

just wondering if this is worth me spending money on as things are still tigh with being in college.

My camo extreme 2.5 is miles ahead of the camo 2.25 I use to run, especially in the deep fluff. But if your tight on $ the attack 20 works really good for the price.

I had one... it worked great in setup snow.. but in the fluff we get better part of the season in montana that thing just went for the dirt.

Im currently running basicaly a 2.25 camo cut to a 2"... so yeah, if it was a huge jump from there. im already behind.

Turn the boost knob up to 14-15lbs. They start to plane out more around 14lbs of boost. It doesn't matter on the track so much if you can get the track speed up a little more. I think that track you have will work fine. The snow has been really fluffy with the cold temps and my sled feels like a trencher right now too.

wait till ya ride with me before makeing a choice people think longer the track the worse off they are in the trees let alone on a lil 7hundo

2.5" or bigger...it is the only way to go IMHO...

if your trenching, it is a suspension issue, not necessarily a power issue...

give Robbie a call and get his opinion on it...he is te king of 3.0"

its funny, I would say 75% of the guys rocking the huge paddles on normal sized sleds are ALL from the flathead. I was up red meadow when I was home and have never seen so many 174's and 3" paddles.. it was kinda funny, but I know they work, the tight trees is where they shine, you can go slower and chose the line. for those who think they dont.. there just mad they cant get to the top. I know the the trails into these places dont get broken in by short tracks and small lugs, thats for sure.

Im gonna just have to wait and save my pennies. Im contemplating just wainting and going 162x3.. I can clear it no problem. issue being I have 2.52 avids right now and dont really wanna drop ANOTHER $200 on drivers along with the track. just dont got that kinda dough in college, spending $1000 is a little out of my budget range right now.

I do think the current snow is making it feel crappy. its not a light sled and just needs a LITTLE more power to plane out, currently sorta just plows throught it.. workin the boost up and it just gets better every time i turn the dial. and we shall see how she does with a LITTLE more base to it. should be pretty wild. when I would track poach for a second the thing rockets up the hill. Im also workin on droppin another 20+# On it right now, so that could help deal with the boat anchor factor.

you know why right (on the 3"x174)??? Robbie is the one that made the initial order, and convinced Camo to do the track...he made a minimum commitment to get them to do it...and they did...well, it is has clearly proven itself...

It is a legit track!!!
