Major Props to MVP Evanston

We've had a cabin just outside of Evanston for over 12 years and never been able to drop a sled for repair, until now. Morgan Valley Polaris hired Derek from Tri City and has already saved my bacon. As everybody knows I rarely break stuff but when I do I now have a trusted, knowledgeable mechanic to get me rolling again.

Thanks Derek for allowing me to ride on our Anniversary today.:face-icon-small-hap

BTW: I did document the mileage on the Phazer I dropped off so don't do too many test runs. haha

Been a while Spencer. Can't wait :face-icon-small-hap

However we need more snow. Could still see our tracks from Christmas yesterday. -14 right now burrrrrr.

Derek is originally from that neck of the woods. I believe he was just looking for a change. He left TCP on good terms.

Kind of strange, but my sled goes all the way to Evanston for service. He's top notch.

Pretty sure GP and I were a major factor in his choice. We'll keep that place in business. LOL

TCP is cool with his departure (as cool as you can be when one of your elites leaves and most likely his following will follow)

Max retired mid 2012 and I can guess since he wasn't selected as the manager for centerville, he took mgr job in Evanston.

I now have a reason to go to MVP Evanston.

Derek is the man!! A few years back I had a big problem with my 07 dragon while on a trip to Wyoming and only had 2 days home before I was supposed to leave on 4 day sledding trip with the wife. Derek had my sled completed and ready to go 24 hours after I dropped it off and that included a complete new rear skid and new track and was able to get Polaris to warranty 100% of it! He even spent an hour on the phone with me one morning when I was unloading my wheeler and it wouldn't stay running. He figured out what was wrong and told me how to hot wire it so me and my old man could go kill a couple elk! That's just 2 out of 100's of times he has saved my ars! MVP was extremely lucky to snatch him up!!

How many mechanics do they have @ the Evanston store and what is the turn around time like? How about parts availability? I want to ride at the cabin (near Ron's) and then drop my sled with Derek for a minor service and then pick it up the next week and ride the cabin area again. Doable?

Absolutely doable.
Seriously not like the old place which I never looked at when driving by. They are also looking at moving to a better facility too.

I sense a 'bro-mance' here...

Its good to know we have a reputable mech in the area now. Ive had to take my sleds to Utah to have work done. I hope it improves parts avalability also. :face-icon-small-hap

I like the people at the urie store just seams to take so long to get parts. I do most of my own work and alot for other people. This may be a good turn arround for me. I had one of MVP mech get pretty rude with me when they bought out the dlr and kinda turned me away. Been buying in Utah since. I like the crew he has there so maybe this will be good. I will give him a chance.
