Got to ride my RMK last weekend at the conditions were perfect. We dropped off into big snow filled valleys and it was clear and sunny all day. We found a bunch of untouched snow and tore it up for hours. The sled ran awesome. Here is what I changed this season:

Plugged the exhaust valves and it did make a difference in mid/top end

New front shocks that are adjustable (thanks MH) made a huge difference on the trails.

07 Spindles made a big difference in steering on both trails and in the trees (again thanks MH)

Skinz bumper that I didn't test and hope not too but it looks grreat. Nice to have something solid to grab onto on the front end.

And last but not least the Holz scratchers that I put down when we were on the hard pack and my temp went from 150ish to a solid 120 and stayed there even when I varied the speed. Tons of snow onto the hifax also.

I couldn't be happier with this sled. Tons of low end torque and there wasn't anything I couldn't get through. I only got tired from having to ride up mid-hill and dig others out.

The only bummer is I tweaked the Right lower A-arm again! Don't know what I hit but the right side sits back just a little further than the left. You can't tell unless you are standing up on the sled and look down at the ski's. Just turns a little harder to the left on hard-pack.

Thank you to everyone on here for all the help and advice for making this sled a keeper. I have a bunch of time off saved up and lots of spring riding left.:face-icon-small-coo

Glad you had a good time with your sled, they rock when they are running right!
Those lower control arms are pretty soft arent they... better than bulkhead damage though!

I guess thats why they bend so easy and yes its better than tearing up the bulkhead. A friend that was riding with us broke a rail on his 800 dragon. I've never seen one actually crack all the way through. Hit a huge rock that the ski's cleared but the track didn't. Broke 3 bones in his foot too because it got stuck in the sturrip when he went over the front. We had only been riding for about 20 minutes. It sucked.
