made a stupid mistake today

well, i made the stupid rookie mistake today of reversing with my ice scratchers (was at my friends house and left them down when i went in and forgot all about them being down). well i realized i left them down when i got home and had a look around and it didn't seem like anything was bent or broken.
this got me wondering what could have happened by reversing with the scratchers down? anybody have any horror stories?

Usually they just get bent and not work properly. I could see one possibly scratching your slide rail. My dad did this last weekend and we just bent it back to its original shape with the closed end of a wrench. It only messed one of them up. Don't know of any horror stories but I guess a missing piece of ice scratcher loose in any moving part is a possibility.

done it more than once....rebend rebend.....when they break I will hit up whitefish

yep

is that all....thats not that stupid of a mistake. i think alot have done it.no worries rebend to shape and carry on.
i thought you were gonna say you put diesel in your sled.lol
