I need to say thanks to mad1818!! He PMed me after reading in a post that wanted upgrade my slidekicks to the carbide tips . He said he had a set Iould have for the shipping! So I sent him my address and wouldn't ya know it here comes not only the carbides but a standard set of tips and the loops for the rail .

This is proof that no matter what you hear there are a bunch of cool people around here that I am glad to be a part of !

That is good to here. I bought a brand new set from a distributor on Ebay a couple of months ago. The picture showed a set with the rail loops, well when they arrived no rail loops. I emailed about the missing rail loops, they said that they were discontinued, and they did not come as part of the set anymore. I would have to go to the hardware and get some.

Are they giving rail loops with the kit again?

Maybe I will have to send him a PM to see what happened to the kit I bought. Also let him know of this distributor. Maybe they are selling old kits they have had in stock.

Good to know they are helping out and standing behind the product.

I dont think they are part of the kit anymore and I dont use them anyway

They don't come with the new updated kit. They will hang on the rails like the standard scratchers. The older, longer, less stiff ones needed the eye bolts because they would not stay on the rails.
