i bought a 09 m8 with a boondocker pgt. put a speedwerks turbo pipe on it.
does anyone have any clutching advice? and maybe boondocker numbers to make the pipe work better?

Did you read the instructions that came with the pipe? Mine came with the clutching and fueling info.

well it said to clutch for 7800-8000 rpm and gave me some safe mapping but just wondered how people are getting 70+mph track speed cause im only seeing about 55mph in a climb. figured it was poor clutching. taching about 7800 rpm with 77g wieghts and a 36/48p helix. just looking for some pointers for better set ups with this pipe. doesnt look like there are too many people running this pipe..i was told to go to a stock secondary with the straight 36 helix.... but my dealer said that wasnt a good idea on a turbo. any advice out there from the people who ride them?

You will gain more trackspeed by gearing up. Theory says that if your clutches are shifted fully out to their highest ratio then you will reach your top trackspeed (highest gear) The clutching gets the power to the track, but with a turbo you have more power than what the stock clutching and gearing was designed to deliver, so precice clutching is not as critical for top speeds. It is beneficial of course , but not as essential as a n/a sled. Be aware though, the higher geared, the more your bottom end will suffer for boondocking etc. You will actually be engaging in a higher ratio and it is not as easy on the belt.

Last week running 11lbs & 120 degree charge temps on a RG BD 153" tM8 at 10K-11K (stock AC pipe), the only time I would see 75mph track speed in a climb was on pretty crusty snow when I could stay on top & scoot. When totally loaded down in a powder climb steep enough that I couldn't gain speed & was trenching deep, mine would bounce between 55 & 60mph track speed. Sounds like your PG turbo is working well to me.
