M858 Bar Riser

Anybody added a Bar Riser to their 858 , the stock one appears to measure 3 1/2 so I am sure they call it a 4" depends on your measuring point . Kinda short for someone 6' 1" ! Was able to go with a 6.5 on the Hardcore any thoughts , throttle cable seems to have enough slack can't tell on the brake hose ?

I'm 6 foot and like it where it's at. My wife wanted hers up one inch so I put a 4.5 on it. I did bust one of the caps. Was standing there and heard a pop. Kind of a delayed reaction.

I went to 6 in. Tried a 7 and it was not happening. Brake cable is tight but it works. 500 miles on no problems.

Found at another dealership. My dealer showed backordered until end of March. Bought their only 2. Probably not using one.

No worries. I ordered 2 so the 154 and 165 were the same. Decided I'm leaving mine. Heading to alpine for rest of week so everyone will get a much needed break from me.

My dealer said 4.5 was about the tallest you can go so I bought it and turned out he was correct. plenty of throttle cable and enough wiring harness length but the brake line was almost too short with the 4.5. Wish i could go 6" at least. I'm 6'2" and find it a tad low still. My previous sled was a 2010 M8 with the adjustable post. I ran that at full height and also had an AMP 1.5" offset riser on top of that.
I see the trend now seems to be low. My back gets trashed if the bars are too low. Always feel hunched over. I'll see if I get used to this. If not I'll see about a longer brake line and go to 6 or 7".

Well I will let you know on the 5.5 , out today putting Jaws can on and think I can find the extra length on the brake hose by a minor reroute will see ,riser her Friday got to finish a couple other items also

Well the 5.5 riser does indeed fit , you have to pop the hood and cut the zip tie that secures the brake line and main handlebar harness to a flat piece near the column, I put some loom around the brake line and left it loose from the upper mounting point , resecured the harness and all seems good . Tomorrow it's remodding MTNvipers snow flap mod to fit and work with the cat Evo bumper stay tuned !
