M8 Turbo exhaust

What are guys doing for exhausts on there M8 pump gas or race gas turbos? Anybody try the new speedwerx exhaust designed for a turbo set up on a pump gas turboed m8??? Was just gonna ceramic coat stock exhaust system but am curious about that new speedwerx set up.

I would run the exhaust the kit comes with and is designed for. most of the kit builders have done alot of r&d tuning an exhaust system that works with there kit. i think the speedworks is more of a money grab that would end up casing more problems than power.

The reason you run the stock pipe over an aftermarket pipe is for strength. The aftermarket ones are more prone to split. Speedwerx just made there pipe thicker and stronger. It may give you a few more pony's but i don't think it would be worth the $650 they want for that pipe. If you're running a BD kit then the #'s BD gives you will probably be off when you setup the turbo. I debated the same thing with my turbo, I bashed my stock pipe against a tree and had to buy another pipe and wondered about the SW pipe. I decided to stay with the stock pipe.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking the same thing. My speedwerx pipe split in two places on my m1000 this winter on about 900 miles. Paper thin. Will just ceramic coat the factory exhaust this year. Trouble free is the way to go and will be much easier to tune. Are you guys running aftermarket Y pipes to get rid of the restriction or are you running aftermarket Y with stock pipe? I think the Y pipe restriction is fixed on the 010 M8 anyways?

stock pipe and y pipe here, OVS tried a different pipe and y pipe on there turbo kits and it didn't make alot of difference.
