M8 relocating switches for aftermarket bars

Considering relocating the switches (kill, reverse, high/low beams) to the dash panel and getting ride of the big bulky blocks on stock handle bars. and replace with some taper bars. Anyone done this or had any success? Not sure if or how it can be done? Need a schematics of wiring diagram, or how the throttle pos sensor works in flapper without block?

PM me for details.

I just did this with a set of RSI carbon aero tapers and 3 switches located above the key area (1 for hand warmers, 1 for thumb, and 1 for the headlight). I ditched the kill switch and just use a tether, but usually shut the sled down by turning the key. For the reverse, i used a billet kill switch which is a momentary switch and works for AC reverse. I used a billet throttle block which does not utilize the throttle safety switch (not needed, and another reason I have a tether). Most of my parts were from RSI; bars, stub hooks, mountain grab bar, grip wrap (way better than grips IMO), hand warmers, billet kill (reverse switch), billet throttle block, and the 3/ 3 position switches.

I can email you pics and info as that would be easiest. I can also email you my number and give some tech support that way.. Get ready to spend between 3 and 4 hun for the conversion, depending if you go with aftermarket risers and whatnot. :face-icon-small-coo
