So I am pretty darn sure I am having a fueling problem. My 08 race gas Booondockers turbo M8 13 pounds of boost runs like a raped ape most of the time, I have the fuel pressure set at 42psi. Every once in a while it will start cutting out, look down at the fuel pressure gauge and it will read 25psi. If I stop and let it idle a bit or shut her down and start it back up, fuel pressure will jump back up to 42psi. Some days fuel pressure will stay at 42 all day long, then some days it will decide to drop down to 20-25 for no apparent reason. Sometimes I will have trouble starting it, and as I am trying to start it, I can't get the fuel pressure over 20psi. Then all of sudden it will decide to jump up to 40+ and it will start. I am thinking I just have a melon fuel pump.
So my question is, do you guys think I am right in my assumption? And if so what fuel pump do you guys recommend for a race gas M8? Any of you guys have an extra reliable one sitting around??
Thanks
