i just bought an 07 M8. new to arctic cat and not really sure what i need to do to it if anything. i got a set of scratchers and put a harley can on it just cuz the guy i bought it from builds them. so ya. let me know.

I have an 07 M8 as well, and the best mod for it is the fastlane nosnow running boards and clutching. After that, depends on how much you want to spend, It sounds like the power claw track is worth the money, but I went with an 2010 seat, venting, bd extreme prolight rear bumper, and SLP can and an extra set of hood latches. Now that I think of it, the extra latches should be the first thing you do.
Definatley do clutching from RKT or Cutlers, Slp pipe combo really wakes this sled up

Everyone has good ideas. If you are planning to ride with a stock motor you had better check the clutching. The 07's were clutched very poorly out of the box. I'm not saying that yours is poor clutched, but you might start there
