I have a dakota performance kit. It come 3 pistons, cylinders, head, reed valves, pipe make by jeff at dakota, clutch wieghts, and attitude fuel controler. The motor runs really well. The motor has been on a 06 m6 that I have only put about 350 miles on the motor. Sold the sled. Now left with the motor. Please pm with questions. or call 435-760-7609. What elevation is the head for?

Does the kit use stock cast pistons? Is there any porting on the cylinders?

It is set up for 6000-9000 ft. you would have to call jeff and ask him what kind of pistons he is running in his kits. It is ported. You would need to ask Jeff on the specifics on those too. I just run the motor.
