M8 clutching help needed.

My current clutching setup:
2008 M8 with SLP pipe and intake. 900-1300 ft. elevation.
Primary - CPC adjustible weights 70-80gr. set up appx at 76.5 gr.
Yellow white titanium spring

Secondary- RKT torsional conversion 36/34 progressive helix with dual spring setup - compression and torsion spring.

If I line up at the bottom of a hill, and pin it, rpms jump to 7650 and slowly climb right to 8150. This is cleary not the sought after "straight shift". What changes need to be made to get the rpms up initially? If i go up or down on the primary weight, the same symptoms are apparent, with the initial shift and final rpm varying in the same manner. 1 gr. less it will jump to 7750, and climb to 8250.

Any suggestions?

Should I be looking at a different primary spring?

Based on the pictures of your sled I would say a few more stickers will get the RPM’s right where you need them. I would suggest one of Calvin pissing on a Doo for the clutch side, and a few SLP stickers sprinkled throughout. JMO :beer;:beer;:beer;

I have the RKT dual spring setup. I do not know the rate. It is a "custom" spring from him. It is two holes clockwise from the left?

if you have adjustable weights you should put your weight out more towards the tip and see what that does.sounds lke you have your secondary clutch all the way tight,i woud try to loosen it up. it will drop down your peak rpm down.
