M8 BOV, drill/tap throttle body?

I'm installing a Boondocker RG Turbo kit on an M8 with oil delete. Does anyone know if I need to drill/tap the throttle body for the BOV hose? Or could I just run the BOV hose into the rubber boots where the oil used to feed? Where is the best place to drill/tap the throttle bodies on an M8?

Thanks for the help

Download the instructions of the Boondockers website. There are some pictures for you to look at, but you basically drill and tap the brass 90 degree fittings into the intake side on the bottom. Just make sure you go as close to the throttle body as possible so it does not interfere with the boots.

The pictures on the Boondocker website are for an m1000, unless they updated their site, so this is not accurate for the m8 setup. The pictures the BigHoe posted up show the desired way to setup the m8 throttle bodies.

Thank you, Racinstation,BigHoe, and bart0678.
Yes the instructions show the M1000 throttle bodies not the M8.
I really really really appreciate the help and the photos. You saved me a lot of time.

Thanks everyone!!!!

Does this also work with the Cutler throttle bodies BigHoe? I'm still working on Project Boosted and I'm about to tackle this scenario. Sure would be handy if Cutler included a port on the billet throttle bodies for a BOV.

JROD i havent got to see your pretty new throttle bodies yet so i couldn't be sure but you just need to find a boss on the vacuum side of the butterfly to drill and tap.

Bring them over JROD and I'll get them fixed up real nice for you! I'll do it for free if you bring your sister with you! :face-icon-small-win
