m7 w/ race gas???

running a stock m7. can i run race gas in it? what ratio with pump gas? is it buying me anything? sorry if this is a dumb question but what do you expect from a newbie...

Ideas to start getting more HP?

Race gas will not make any HP.

Stock M7 and crossfire 7 sleds actually run better on regular. Believe it or not but it actually says in the manual that decreased performance may occur with an octane above 87. My wifes Xfire7 runs crappy on premium and I've tried quite a few different stations. This last weekend we filled up my friends F1000 with premium and it fouled the plugs and ran like a bag of crap. 4 new plugs drained the premium and put in regular and away we went.

Race gas is for race compression.

Save your $ and run 87. It will run better. There is nothing "Premium" anout high octane fuel.
The higher octane the fuel, the harder it is to get lit.

^^ What he said. Race fuel won't do **** but make your wallet lighter unless your mods REQUIRE it.
