m7 primary problems

so after i blew a belt on my m7 the clutch seems to grab the belt and stay partly engaged. i have the right belt, deflection is good and i took the clutch apart but it still grabs at an idle. whats wrong? Thanks

check your spider front and back on the primary. Sounds like it might have cracked

ill look, any possibility of a sacked out primary spring? im hoping somthing simpler

Pull the cover and make sure the shaft is clean and the spring is good. You may have some belt stuck in the clutch...hopefully. A broken spider is a possibility, but look at the simple things first.

took it apart and no sign of belt in anywhere. starting to think a broken primary
