Does anyone run the arctic cat orange primary and white secondary spring on a m7? A buddy just bought a sled with this set up. I know little about clutching, what would be the reason for this set up? thanks

A lot of people run the orange primary, as it holds the rpm up and makes the motor a little more throttle responsive. It does make the engagement a little higher, but after it been in the clutch and taken a set, it works out to be the same as a new yellow/white. We use the orange/white setup! The yellow/ white is what came stock.
The white seconday is what came stock in the secondary. We have turned it down 1-turn, and like it that way a lot better. Some prefer the stronger orange spring that the M8 come stock with.
Check and see what weights the primary has, as well as what helix is in the
secondary?? What altitude do you ride the most and how??These all make a big difference .

68 gram weights, and I know the helix is stock, most the riding is boondocking at 3-6000ft
