Has anyone come across an instrument panel that stops working. everyting lights up and what not, but the odometer, speedo don't work. the analog tach still works though. wondering if its the cluster or a problem deeper in the wiring or controls?
well you prob need to pull diamond drive .but that is not that hard and you should pull it any way and clean out all fluid and inspect gears and so on.you can pull dd and replace in under 2hr.the sensor is on the foot well side of dd. to pull dd loosen rear skid wheels pull clutch and pull off rubber stopper in between bulk head and dd on top fr of dd nut hiding behind rubber stopper pull other nuts cant remember how many maybe 6 the speed sensor wire has a plug tucked up above foot well just tug wire down and unplug lightly pull out DD and split it open for cleaning and fluid change and sensor swap put back in 2hr or less first time
Don't forget you got to pull the trackshaft bolt out of the trackshaft via the brake caliber side, I think it takes a 9/16" o 5/8" socket and an extension down the center of the trackshaft.
