m7 cable popping off servo

is there a clip on the m8s for the cable barrels? cant find one on the parts fische either

Make sure it is mounted correctly and then put a dab of silicone on it. This will hold it in the servo motor. We take most of the clips off the newer sleds too. Really if it is popping off your cables may need adjusted.

I agree with RACINSTATION check the adjustment of the cables to make sure they are correct. If you have ever had the barrel off the servo you must check the orientation of the barrel to the servomotor shaft. The barrel has to be mounted so the line in the end of the shaft lines up with the spot where the cables hook into. If it is put on 180 degrees off the servo will turn backwards.

i checked the cables and did adjust one less than .10, this is the first i noticed it was off and looks like its was that way for awhile. i will try the silicone, thanks

i'd make sure the valves are clean also, if one was sticking upon closing this could cause the cable to pop off. you can buy the clip though if you want the extra security, my buddys m7 had issues with his popping off and he bought the clip off of i think an 07 m8 and hasn't had the issue since. on that note, on my m7 i have never had one pop off but i clean and check the valves and cables atleast once or twice a season.

on my 05 m7 the wiring harnes that goes to the tail light was routed wrong and shortted out the servo made it turn backwards and kick the cables off. the short was under the coolent bottle on the main harness. the gauges flashed intermintantly to
