has anyone transplanted a m1000 motor into a m7 before?

Not sure about M's but check on HCS. There are lots of guys that have put 1000's into F7's. The F7's and M7's use the same bulkhead. It's doable but not easy.

D&D has a kit for the F7 to put the 1000 in. It is totally do-able.

get the kit. you can't do it cheaper than the kit.
