M1100T Fuel Issue

I ride from 6 to 9k feet, I have the HJ 1.9 and D&D barker can on it. Have to run 2gal of race gas not to get Octaine warning when climbing? Are other owners seeing that? Not a big deal just curious.

Second topic is my fuel tank. Every time I open the fuel the cap a rush of air comes out, it gargles air for a minute or two. Some times when close to full, fuel will come out? Is the blue line coming down the left side of the tank to release or to provide air to the tank. It only allows air to go into the tank?

Thanks,

That little turbo makes a lot of heat. Add more boost and deto will be an issue. Have a air intake temp (AIT) with a fast reacting probe in my charge tube. AIT temps are usually around 130F before a climb and easily hit over 200F after a long pull. An intercooler fan helps some. Can cool the charge temps down to 100F pretty easily with the fan, but they still get up toward 200 on a long pull, AIT just doesn't get as hot as fast with the fan.
FYI, also have AIT probe between the turbo and intercooler. Temps there commonly run over 300F after a long pull. So the intercooler does pull about 100F out of the intake air.
