M1100 Turbo

Got the turbo into some deep snow today and made some good runs with it. This sled is sick. It took some getting used to the steering, but now I wouldn't ever change it. You have so much control of the sled and with all the power, there's not a lot of terrain that will stop you. I've heard a lot of people comparing the 800 to the 1100 turbo, saying that the 800 would waste the turbo in the trees...I disagree. I've rode both. And the more that I get used to riding this four stroke, the more the sled surprises me on how it reacts and handles. Just a little kudos to Arctic Cat and there new platform.

glad you like your sled. i cant wait to get some time on an 1100. i love my 8. Its funny how a month ago everyone was complaining about their sleds now people cant say enough about them.

i couldnt agree more. its different than my old 1m, it seems just a quick shot of counter steer and she lays right over and you can steer back in to it and maintain it like nothing, the power is great i never had it to the bar mostly in between 1/2 and 3/4 throttle and still climbed great, cant wait to get it broken in all the way

We're riding in South East Alaska. Here's a pic from the other day on top of a favorite local spot....

I am not happy at all with mine in the deep snow!!

Why is that? I do notice I had to change my riding style "needs a vertical post" This weekend 5 ft of new 18 PSI I'm still smiling, this sled is the bomb!!!:high5:

I hear you!

My 1100T dives like a nuclear submarine in the fluff,,,,,,,, Put Simmons Gen 3's on it and I have a feeling my next trip the sled will behave entirely different in the powder....

I have the stock skis on mine still. I will be getting new skis next year for sure. Just not sure what ones yet.

We been riding in 3 to 5 feet of new and it seems like everytime I hit the deep powder it just not wanting to pull, its like I am dragging something?? my sled is all stock but Powder Pro's and mountain fit vents. what 18 PSI put you at for HP?? I really like it other then the deep snow.

Do you have a boost gauge? I rode mine in west yellowstone a week agoa anf the first two days felt great and the last day I got the same sensation you are getting. Feels like I need to unhook the plow. I think that i had or have a boost leak someplace as I was not pulling the RPMS i should have been. I personally cannot wait to get my muzzy pipe back on the sled. It makes a huge difference. WORD OF WISDOM . . . Carbon fiber skinned muffler will not work on the M1100T. About 4 miles down the trail I could smell something funny. Carbon Fiber was sticky and smoking. So getting a titanium muzzy to go in place.

Like turbo said; sounds like a leak or clutching. Even stock this thing rocked. First time out; 16psi was fun 18 was a blast. Will start going up until I see a code running 92 pump. Actually I found the lower boost 14-16 was easier in the trees, but really had to have a steady throttle through the tight turns (learning curve) I'm going to guess 220-230hp? Hijacker 2 with down pipe. :face-icon-small-hap

Loved My 8 in slydogs compared to stock. Not as easy to lay over but I am not that great of rider lol
