M1000 Twisted Set-up

Decided to go with a Twisted Turbo Set-up on my 08 M1000 SP and was wondering if anyone could fill me in as to what I might expect. Will the Z-Bros shock set-up improve my Fox Float lagging situation and also transfer some of the torque to the front of the Sled so it's not 5 feet in the air all the time without going to the KMOD set-up.
Thanks Guys.

You have to do something to rear skid such as a coupler to keep it from wheelie mode. I made my own for mine and OVS sells an expensive version as well. Still cheaper than a new suspension. Float works fine with it and I can run less pressure and the ride on trail is better than before.

Brad and the OVS guys have run the stock skids with a ZBros shock for some time. It does help but you will have much more success with a coupler block or other skid at wheelie control. I currently run an aftermarket skid and added a zbros shock and there was a very large diff with the float. I can easily tun my skid from light front end for boondocking to fully planted for pulling chutes just with the clicker on the reservoir.

Im running the twisted turbo on the 2011 m1000. I have the OVS coupler on the rear skid to help "reduce" the wheelie affect. $350 canadian I thnk. But lets just face it, boost is boost!! Im railin' at 9lbs right now and if I hit any bump while rippin up a slope..........she wheelies. A longer track is another cure for the wheelie affect. But I like to be able to play and not just take runs at hills.

No doubt, Boost is Boost. How has your set-up been for you ? Hassel free ?
Imagine it pulls real hard all the way through.
Thanks

In all honesty, I spent 6 years riding 2-stroke. big bores, lots of mods and became a decent rider. But now its like learning to ride again. Everything happens so fast. The power curve as the boost is spooling up really catches me off guard but once its making power theres nothing like it!!! my setup seems to be reliable so far. I have 3 good rides on it. I go over and check everything after each ride and it all seems "tight" still. The attitude box was so simple to learn how to fuel with boost also. I recommend using a simple controller like this.

I hear ya there, I've had 1380's, 1220's, 1107's etc and have twisted enough wrenches over the years. Looking for some Big Power when you need it and hopefully a pull and go (somewhat) reliable Sled. The guy installing my system is very good @ what he does so I feel confident that it will turn out well. We'll see I guess.

hey man.. what primary spring are you running? What rpm do you guys think these turbos should engage at?
